有名な中世随筆の「方丈記」の、わたくし版現代語訳です。 全編を通じて現れる「無常観」を、要するに「ニートの愚痴だ」という観点から、まじめに現代語訳にしています。 全体を２２に分割して、それぞれ原文と、訳者が分らなかった言葉や人名、出来事、関連事項などの詳細な註を付しています。 Hojoki is one of the great old essay written by Kamo-no Chomei (1155 - 1216), and during his period, Japanese Ancient Times, Heian Period end and Middle Ages, the era of Samurai began. In such "mutating" time, Chomei write this historical essay with his famous "impermanence mind." In this modern translation of Hojoki, the translator found his impermanence mind is very much similar to those moans of NEAT people, and made it really understandable to those young generations with detailed annotations.
