One day, in February 1980, at the age of 30, while working as an officer in the Army, Constantin Rusu met the Lord Jesus in a miraculous way and became a Christian. For his faith in Christ, he lost everything. From 1980 to 1988 he was arrested and interrogated by the Communists at least 70 times for being a witness for the Lord. He has never been more happy than the time he was interrogated for his faith in Christ. He could say what the apostol Paul wrote in his second letter to Corinthians chapter 12 verse 10: "That is why, for Christ's sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties."
