An honorable hero, a guy who wants to kill the honorable hero, a woman who wants to kill them both, a great and noble quest (cue trumpets), a mythical item, a princess, another princess, an anti-princess, some stolen horses, some people hunting for stolen horses, a shapeshifter (is he a werewolf, a werecat, a wererat, something else entirely), an assortment of princes (13 if you must know), a teleporting evil dude, some sweet telepathy, some not-so-sweet telepathy, some really not-sweet telepathy, kidnapping, a dungeon or two, a whole lot of swordplay (clang clang), more stolen horses (no, you can't just buy a horse), political intrigue, romance (woo-woo!), bromance (woo-hoo!), and enough subplots to plant a plot forest, some of which even get turned into lumber and wrapped up by the end.
